Thai cod and chilly soup

Quick and simple Thai cod and chilly soup for those of you with busy lives. This recipe will take around 30 minutes and serve two people.

1/2 cup fish stock

1 cup coconut milk

1/2 tablespoon fish sauce

1/2 tablespoon sugar

1 lemongrass stork

1 red chilli

2 cod  fillets

1/2  tablespoon sugar


  1. Place fish stock, coconut milk, fish sauce, sugar, lime leaves, lemon grass and chilli into a saucepan and boil for ten minutes.
  2. Lower the heat and simmer before adding the fish, poach until fish is just done.
  3. Remove the fish, and set aside.
  4. Reduce the sauce over high heat (about five minutes), until slightly thickened.
  5. Add the prawns and stir in the lime juice.
  6. Can also be serve with Pasta or cooked rice add some chopped mint to garnish.Thai chilly fish pasta in a dish
