Simply pulled pork recipe using your King Pro. A must for all the family. Basic recipe, anyone can do it.
- 3.6kg / 8lbs pork shoulder
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 x 340g bottles barbecue sauce
With the lid off, season the pork with garlic powder, salt and pepper in the inner pot.
Fill with enough water to cover.
Close the lid and set pressure release valve to closed. Press MEAT FUNCTION and adjust timer to 1 hour.
After 60 minutes release pressure and open the lid. Drain off juices, reserving 250-300ml.
Shred the pork and mix with barbecue sauce, adding reserved liquid if needed to reach your desired consistency. Pace shredded meat onto a bun and serve with salad or chips.
